Laureata in Pittura all’ Accademia di Belle Arti  “Pietro Vannucci” di Perugia, tramite il progetto Erasmus ho passato un periodo di studio all’ Accademia di Belle Arti “Minerva Hogeschool” di Groningen in Olanda.
Mi sono poi formata nella decorazione edile , un corso che mi ha anche permesso di partecipare al restauro della Chiesa di Santa Croce di Perugia. In ambito lavorativo ho operato in ambito locale e regionale, realizzando numerosi dipinti anche per dei rinomati Ristoranti in Lussemburgo.
Tutto ciò ha contribuito alla mia formazione nel campo della pittura e dell’espressione artistica.
Vivo e lavoro a Sigillo, in Umbria, con mio marito e i miei due figli.
Nel corso degli anni, oltre a quelle classiche, ho utilizzato tecniche pittoriche differenti, come l’aerografo, un mezzo che mi permette di personalizzare motociclette, caschi, strumenti musicali ecc.
La mia profonda passione per il legno mi ha portato all’ uso del pirografo , uno strumento che utilizzo anche per realizzare ritratti, orologi, termometri….oggetti di uso quotidiano in cui fondo questo affascinante materiale col mio sapere pittorico.
La pittura sia essa su tela, tavola o plexiglass, ad olio o acrilico, con pennello o spatola, di mia libera ricerca o imposta su commissione mi ha sempre regalato qualcosa di prezioso. Ogni nuovo lavoro è sia una sfida che mi chiama, che un’opportunità per crescere e migliorare.

Nata e cresciuta tra i faggi dell’appennino ho mantenuto un rapporto viscerale con la natura e la montagna, sono una guida escursionistica della Grotta di Monte Cucco, questo mi permette di vivere a contatto con la natura, una natura che mi ispira ed è ricerca dei miei dipinti.

Who I am

I was born in 1974 in Umbria, a region of central Italy well-known for its beautiful mountains (the ‘Appenini’) and lively beeches woods. Nowadays, I still live (and work!) in Sigillo, a picturesque town within the natural park of M. Cucco with my husband and my two children.
I have a visceral relationship with natural landscapes and natural elements. Particularly, mountains and trees have been a fundamental source of inspiration, research and motivation both in my personal life and for my evolution as an artist/painter. Indeed, my life is equally devoted to the activity of official hiking guide of the Monte Cucco´s caves (i.e. Grotte di monte Cucco) and my painting work.
Several experiences contributed to my education and to the development of an own form of artistic expression. In 1999, I formally graduated in painting at the Pietro Vannucci” Academy of Fine Arts ” in Perugia. To the other hand, the study period spent at the “Minerva Hogeschool” Academy of fine arts in Groningen (Holland) gave me an international outlook and an open mindset. Then, after graduation, I received specific training in ‘building decoration’ and participate to the renovation of the paintings of the Church of Santa Croce (Perugia). In the workplace I worked in the local and regional area, creating numerous paintings also for renowned restaurants in Luxembourg.
In my work, I use a wide variety of painting techniques and rather different materials. I have experience with classical pictorial forms such as painting on canvas, table, plexiglass; oil and acrylic with brush or spatula etc. Moreover, I am skilled with unconventional tools such as the airbrush that I use to customize/decorate motorcycles, helmets, musical instruments etc. Or, the pyrograph on wood that I use to make portraits, clocks, thermometers and other several objects of daily use. I perform external murals and trompe l’oeil.
Every new job, either fruit of my personal research or commissioned, give me something valuable namely both a new challenge and an opportunity to grow and improve.
